Jill Ahrens Tucker, LPC-S
Jill Ahrens Tucker, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. Jill provides individual, group and family therapy primarily for adolescents, young adults, and their families who are struggling with substance abuse, behavioral issues, or mental health issues. he enjoys incorporating experiential activities into individual and group sessions with teens and young people, and she is passionate about engaging adolescents and young adults in their therapeutic process. Jill was previously employed by The Council on Alcohol and Drugs from 2009 to 2015, first as the original Choices Counselor and later as Program Manager overseeing multiple Choices Counselors. Choices is a comprehensive counseling, education, and prevention program in local high schools which aims to reduce 15 high-risk behaviors among adolescents. In addition to managing Choices, Jill was the facilitator for The Council’s High Risk Behavior Class and the Adolescent Process Group. In her spare time, Jill enjoys running marathons, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
