I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I provide individual and family psychotherapy for adolescents, young adults, and their families.  I see therapy as a collaborative relationship where we work together to understand the factors that bring you or your family to therapy.  We will think together to develop a shared understanding of goals for treatment, wherein we can utilize skills-based approaches to help with symptom management, as well as examine underlying factors contributing to your struggles.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and then completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Houston.  I have worked in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings, and my most recent role has been as a social worker on the Compass Program for Young Adults at The Menninger Clinic.  In addition to private practice, I currently work as a Primary Therapist at Eating Recovery Center.  I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and families who are struggling with or have been affected by struggles with depression, anxiety, transitions or phase of life issues, and relational challenges.  My work is informed by attachment, psychodynamic, mentalization, family systems, and DBT skills-based approaches. I have completed trainings in mentalization-based treatment, and I am look forward to completing training in Radically Open DBT in 2017.
