We’re thrilled to welcome Danna Anderson, M.Ed., LPC, to present on “Mindfulness for Clinicians”. Danna is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice. She brings deep passion and commitment to helping people heal themselves. She has attended the “MBSR as Medicine” course with Jon Kabat-Zinn, the creator of MBSR and Saki Santorelli, the Director of the Center for Mindfulness at University of Massachusetts. She is pursuing training at University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in MBSR.
Mindfulness for Clinicians

A 2.5 hour program offering CEUs for LPCs and LCSWs.
- Directly experience mindfulness practices to use for self care.
- Utilize skillful methods for embodied presence to employ mindfulness practice as a theoretical framework for use with clients.
- Explore the role of mindfulness in therapeutic setting.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction promotes wellness, connectedness and balance.
This program will empower those involved to take an active role in their health and well-being. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction invites you to live in the present, to live an authentic life.
The course will be experiential in nature. Clinicians will learn how to use mindfulness for self-care, as a theoretical framework, and to increase the depth and awareness in which they work with clients. It will help them with feelings of burn out and fatigue and reinvigorate energy levels.
