Wendy Bonnen, PhD
Dr. Wendy Bonnen received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University. She completed an internship and postdoctoral fellowship in assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention with children and adolescents with Houston Independent School District as well as pre-doctoral training in neuropsychological assessment at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center-Houston in the Autism Spectrum Services Clinic and Developmental Neuropsychology Clinic. Prior to her training in clinical psychology, she received her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Applied Learning & Development.
Dr. Bonnen specializes in the assessment of ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioral disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. In addition to assessment, her clinical work includes parent and school consultation services as well as group therapy interventions for children and adolescents, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral management, and autism spectrum disorders. She has extensive clinical and educational experience with students from both public and private schools and holds a specialist license in School Psychology.
